Heise Barn Original

I took a little trip up to Heise, which is about 30 minutes from Rexburg. I knew this barn was up there so I thought it would give me some good colors to work with. I shot the barn photo first and then on the way back the lock at a canal check. There wasn't any specific process that I followed on either of these pictures. I took the lock photo in Aperture Priority mode and the barn photo in Program mode. I opened each of these up in Camera RAW in Photoshop and just played around with the different setting until I got the colors I wanted. I have to say that I was pretty please with how they turned out.

  1. I love both of these photos. You did a great job getting the right look with the colors. I'm loving the vibrance on the barn pic. And I'm a sucker for macro shots so the lock is amazing. Great job with your edits and in taking the shots!

  2. You did a great job in using Camera Raw to edit your images! You can certainly tell there is a difference! I like the pad lock one because it looks more like you most likely saw it when you took it with the sun setting on it. Great job man!

  3. I also love these pictures, even the originals are fantastic. You made wise edits, nothing too over the top, seems like just the colors were enhanced giving it a warmer feel.

  4. I really like how on the lock, it looks like you didn't do that much, but it looks really good. It is simple yet neat. The barn looks great with the colors that were broght it. Great edits.
